Our Mission:
Keep Toledo/Lucas County Beautiful is dedicated to establishing greener communities through environmental education, litter prevention, and voluntary partnerships.
Request cardboard boxes that can be used for trash or recycling at events.
Request litter supplies or join one of our litter reduction programs.
In partnership with River Gallery Studio, we're enhancing opportunities for public art in Northwest Ohio.
Environmental education is available to all ages, from preschool to adult, with learning standards in mind.
Toledo Litter League
Hit a home run for a more environmentally friendly & beautiful community!
The Toledo Litter League is a competitive baseball-themed litter abatement program aimed at striking out litter throughout Lucas County.
All are welcome to compete! Teams compete as either businesses, nonprofits/faith-based organizations, community groups, or family individuals. At the end of the season, our top teams gather to celebrate their accomplishments at a Toledo Mud Hens game.
The competition runs form
May 15th to August 31st - but competitors are welcome to join anytime!
Green Time in the 419
Celebrate sustainable momentum at Green Time in the 419!
Join us Thursday, August 27th, 2026 from 5:00 - 7:30 PM at the Glass City Pavilion!
Bringing community together to celebrate and support keeping Toledo/Lucas County Beautiful! A fundraiser created to indulge in the ambiance of our spectacular parks and public art to support the common mission of enhancing the environment around us for the better!
Dinner, first drink, dessert, entertainment, silent auction, sustainability education, and a beautiful atmosphere all included in our fundraising event!
