Would you like to become involved in our community and help improve our communities environmental wellbeing? Keep Toledo/Lucas County Beautiful offers a variety of volunteer opportunities throughout the year where you can do just that!
From litter pickups to recycling collections to educational tables to tree plantings, there is something for everyone. If you or your group are looking for ways to get involved & make a difference in our community, please join our volunteer email list to be notified of volunteer opportunities.

Eclipse Glasses Sorting Event
We’ve partnered with the University of Toledo Honors College for an Eclipse Glasses Sorting Event! Help us sort eclipse glasses for recycling or reuse.

Great Buckeye Cleanup
Join fellow Buckeyes for the Great Buckeye Clean-Up! On April 5, we’re partnering with the Lucas County chapter of OSU Extension to make our communities shine. Grab your friends and family for a morning of impact.
Please park in the Eleanor Kahle Senior Center (1315 Hillcrest).

Crane Creek Beach Cleanup
Help keep our beaches clean! We’ve partnered with the Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge for a special beach cleanup at Crane Creek Beach on April 12th. Registration is not required.
Keep Ohio Beautiful’s litter robot, BeBot, will be in attendance! Learn more about our special guest, BeBot, here.
Volunteers will meet at the west end of the Magee Marsh boardwalk. to fill out paperwork before the event.

Glass City Marathon Green Team
We’re helping the Mercy Health Glass City Marathon go green! We need volunteers to keep the marathon running by assisting us manage waste including recycling and composting.
